PEAKALT / TERMS
Terms of Use
Keep the view. Use your judgment for important decisions.

Purpose
PeakAlt displays outdoor elevation and provides a personal journey journal, camera and poster editor. No login is required. The current version has no in-app subscriptions, paid feature unlocks or community posting service. Any download price is shown in the App Store when you purchase.
Readings and altitude guidance
Sensors, location accuracy, weather, obstructions and system limits affect readings. Pressure and boiling point may be environmental estimates calculated from elevation. Relative oxygen pressure is not blood oxygen saturation. Wellbeing guidance is general travel information, not a diagnosis, personal hypoxia probability or substitute for clinical advice. Consult qualified professionals for health or safety decisions. Do not rely on this app as your only navigation, rescue or life-safety device.
Background and hardware limits
The system schedules background location, widgets, Live Activities and Picture in Picture; continuous availability or exact minute-by-minute refreshes are not guaranteed. Dual cameras and lenses depend on actual device capabilities. Multipliers such as 2× and 3× do not promise independent optical lenses. Watch and iPhone readings may have different sources and times; check the displayed source and update time.
Your content and choices
You retain rights to your own photos, videos and text. Check content, locations and recipients before saving or sharing, and make sure you have permission to use what you share. Operate your device safely, without distraction while driving or during hazardous activities. Save copies of work you want to keep before deleting records.
Service and support
We may update the app to fix issues or support new systems. Use is subject to applicable law and Apple store rules. These terms do not exclude rights provided by applicable consumer law. Contact the developer at the email address on this page for support and read the Privacy Policy for information practices.
