How do I get elevation and place names?
Allow PeakAlt location access and Precise Location in system Settings, then wait for a fresh reading in an open area. Elevation, position and place names may arrive separately. Poor signal is shown explicitly; demo values never replace your actual position.
How do dual cameras and 0.5× work?
Open Capture. Supported devices start with front-and-rear photo capture enabled; tap the inset to make it the main view. 0.5× appears only when a usable ultra-wide camera exists. Unsupported camera combinations fall back to a single camera. Photo and video capabilities differ.
How do I make a poster?
Open a Journey record or create a daily timeline poster. The preview stays above the controls for photo size, templates, text, tags and symbols. With two original camera images, tap the front or rear thumbnail to select the main photo. Older records without separate originals cannot restore the two images from a composite.
Why are widgets not continuously live?
Add PeakAlt widgets to your Home or Lock Screen. Start Live Activities and Picture in Picture in Elevation at a glance on Home. iOS and watchOS schedule background refreshes, so check measurement time. Watch prefers its own sensors or location and needs the corresponding Watch permissions.
How do I manage local data?
Long-press a Journey record to delete it. Settings can clear all journey records, app-owned photos, videos and wellbeing selections. Manage Photos, backups and companion-device copies separately. Save what you need first; the developer cannot restore deleted local data.
Does demo mode change real records?
No. The demonstration route in Settings is clearly marked and used only for preview. Leaving demo restores your actual journey. Demo readings are not published as real widget readings or saved as actual wellbeing check-ins.
